Ridgefield COVID Update: 11 New Cases Today, Marconi Urges Thanksgiving with Only Your Household

This evening, First Selectman Rudy Marconi provided a community COVID update using the Everbridge system. Marconi reported 11 new cases today. "A significant rise from an average of 3.5 a week ago," he said.

Marconi said, "I’m asking that during the holidays, everyone avoids getting together with anyone who does not live in your household." He said that the Town hopes to have a town testing site soon. "In the meantime, please continue efforts to get tested," he urged.

Additional updates:

*Effective Monday, November 23, all club and team sports have been paused until January 19, 2021.

*Take the time to call your neighbors especially seniors and those who live alone.

Marconi concluded, "This is difficult for all of us, but I know Ridgefield and together we can get through this."
