Tell us about an organization in your town that makes you feel good
SPHERE has to be one of the best organizations in Ridgefield, the staff and community members are truly wonderful people. SPHERE is a nonprofit that helps adults with developmental disabilities achieve their dreams by providing them enriching opportunities while connecting them with all facets of the community. Each time I've photographed them for an event their smiles light up the camera.
Where do you go for inspiration and creativity?
Out into nature, whilst I miss the Garden of Ideas, I find beauty wherever I go, I can be driving along a road and have to find a car park to pull over and capture a sunset or an amazing view! I recently stopped as the sunset over Danbury Airport and was lucky enough to capture a plane landing at the same time!
What do you love about your community?
I love how people step up to help someone in need or to find a home for a rescue animal, we can use social media in lots of different ways but when we put it to good use is when it shines. To use it as a community to help others is a good resource.
