RVNAHealth Begins Giving COVID Vaccine at Yanity Gym, Launches ON CALL List

Yesterday was opening day at Yanity Gym yesterday as RVNAhealth officially began administering COVID-19 vaccines to community members in CT Phases 1A and Phase 1B, 75+.

Extraordinary thanks to our partners in health, the Town of Ridgefield, our skilled nurses, our phenomenal CERT volunteers, and our debut class of vaccinees, who bared their arms and set the stage for this most important phase in containing the COVID-19 pandemic.

JOIN HERE.

On Call List individuals will be contacted, based on daily sign-ups, if appointment slots open up.

RVNAhealth will be administering vaccines on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (vaccine supply dependent) at Yanity Gym in Ridgefield, CT.  At the end of each day, there may be extra vaccines to administer.  To ensure that we use all of our COVID-19 vaccine doses each day (and waste none), we are maintaining an On Call List for individuals available for impromptu appointments at the end of each day.  Note: We will not accept walk ins.

Here’s how the ON CALL LIST works:

  • You must be in the current Distribution Phase for the State of CT to be eligible for the RVNAhealth On Call List;
  • On Call Appointments will take place at Yanity Gym:
  • between 3:30pm and 4:30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
  • between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Tuesdays
  • We will determine if there are extra vaccines:
  • at approximately 3:30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
  • at approximately 5:30pm on Tuesdays
  • Individuals on the On Call List will be contacted promptly by phone in consecutive order. If you do not pick up your phone, we will move on to the next person.
  • A new On Call List will be formed each day (to avoid calling individuals who are not available that day).
  • This process will be reviewed after the week of January 18th

The ON CALL LIST is only available via RVNAhealth.org. Please do not call RVNAhealth to be placed on the list.
