Creativity Connects Ridgefield: Meet Noah Manheimer, Music and Video Producer, Co-owner of Enchanted Garden

Creativity Connects Ridgefield

What fuels a vibrant, connected, and creative community? What makes people feel good about living in Ridgefield?

When locals share the creativity that they uncover in the nooks and crannies of their community it brings about connectivity and makes us all feel good. Believe it or not, you discover creativity every day as you walk, shop, work, and play in Ridgefield.

Creativity connects us.

Meet Noah Manheimer, owner of Manheimer Music & Video Production, co-owner of Enchanted Garden.

Is there an organization in town that makes you feel good?

Ridgefield Music Matters is a parent-led organization that supports music education and performing opportunities for Ridgefield’s public school students. Playing music enriches children’s lives in many ways, and is vital to a well rounded education. RMM has made it its mission to ensure that our children get that education and the experience of playing music.

What do you love about your community?

I was recently hired by the town of Ridgefield to create a "Virtual Walking Tour" of our town's cultural district. Creating this video made me stop and look closely at places in Ridgefield that I walk or drive past every day without a second thought--to literally to focus on them. The statue in front of Ridgefield Library, all the little plaques around Ballard Park, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum sculpture garden, and many other things large and small made me realize that Ridgefield has many gifts to offer if you slow down and look around.

Where do you go for inspiration and creativity?

For inspiration, I always turn to Ridgefield’s open spaces and trail systems, often on my mountain bike. Ridgefield has a wealth of beautiful well-maintained trails, all close to town. That’s where I go to get away from it all and be home in time for lunch!
