COVID cases reported at three Ridgefield Public Schools

COVID Cases Reported at SES, BMES, and ERMS

Today, Aaron Crook, RPS COVID-19 Health and Safety Compliance Liaison reported that the District learned that a member of the Scotland Elementary School (SES) community has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the SES building while potentially infectious to others from Tuesday February, 23, through Thursday February 24th. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

In addition, a member of the Barlow Mountain Elementary School (BMES) community has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the BMES building while potentially infectious to others on Monday, March 1st. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

Crook also reported that learned two members of the East Ridge Middle School (ERMS) community have tested positive for COVID-19. These individuals were not in the ERMS building during a period of time when they were potentially infectious to others, and thus, no contact tracing is needed.
