RVNAhealth COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments and Supply

Effective yesterday, Monday, March 1, individuals aged 55-64 as well as all Connecticut educators and support staff (pre-K through Grade 12) as well as licensed childcare professionals living or working in the state will also be eligible.

Appointments for the week of March 1 are as follows:

  • Tuesday, March 2, 9:00am – 4:30pm, Newtown Senior Center, Newtown, CT
  • Wednesday, March 3, 10:30am – 5:30pm:Yanity Gym, Ridgefield CT
  • Thursday, March 4, 8:30am – 4:30pm: Yanity Gym, Ridgefield, CT

Upcoming Event: On Tuesday, March 2 at 2:00pm, RVNAhealth is co-hosting The COVID-19 Vaccine: How it Works and How to Get an Appointment in CT with the Mark Twain Library in Redding and the Redding Office of the Aging.  Register here

Identification: Beginning March 1, all those being vaccinated will require a form of verification to confirm eligibility at the time of their appointment.  For 1A, congregate and education/childcare staff, individuals should provide an employment ID badge, payroll stub, business card,  letter from employer, or other documentation. 

All other individuals eligible due to age bracket may be asked for an ID or other documentation demonstrating their date of birth/age.

RVNAhealth may not make any exceptions to the Phases defined by the State of Connecticut.  RVNAhealth vaccines are allocated for residents and workers of the State of CT only.  Residents of other states must be vaccinated in their home states.

Vaccine supply: Each week, RVNAhealth receives a supply of COVID-19 First Dose vaccines from the State of CT Department of Public Health.  RVNAhealth offers appointments on a rolling basis as the weekly vaccine quantity is confirmed.  Second Dose vaccines are guaranteed by the State four weeks after the First Dose has been administered.
