ACT of Connecticut Thankful To Be Ridgefield Thrift Shop Grant Recipient!

Ridgefield Thrift Shop continues to astound us with its generosity. Allan Welby, Ridgefield Thrift Shop’s Finance Director, visited ACT of Connecticut this week to deliver the good news that we have been selected as one of this year’s Thrift Shop grant recipients.

“We are beyond grateful to receive the Thrift Shop grant again this year, following the very challenging COVID restricted year we have all experienced,” said Artistic Director, Daniel C. Levine.  “It has been an extraordinarily challenging year for us all, and this grant truly helps ACT of CT to continue to fulfill our mission of bringing professional theatre and educational programming to our community.”

Since 1937, the Ridgefield Thrift Shop's mission has been to support other local non-profit organizations by raising substantial revenue by selling donated goods from generous Ridgefield area residents. The diligent work of the shop’s over one hundred active volunteers, enables them to donate to over seventy charitable organizations every year.
