Happy Stars in the Aldrich Sculpure Garden, Artist Frank Stella Shares Celestial Obsession with CBS Sunday Morning

"They feel quite comfortable here," artist Frank Stella remarks as he looks at his creations in the Sculpture Garden behind the Aldrich.

"You talk about them as if they're people," CBS Sunday Morning correspondent Martha Teichner says with a soft laugh.

"Well, they are," Stella responds. "They have to have somewhat of a life of their own and a presence of their own.... they seem happy here!"

Artist Frank Stella, whose exhibit is currently on view at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, shared his awesome celestial obsession  CBS Sunday Morning this morning, Sunday, March 21.

The Museum has been working with CBS Sunday Morning since October profiling artist Frank Stella and his out-of-this-world exhibit, "Frank Stella's Stars, A Survey" now on view in the Museum as well as the outdoor sculpture garden.

If you missed this morning's segment, you can watch it HERE.

It's a beautiful day to head downtown to the Sculpture Garden and marvel over Frank Stella's stars!
