Ridgefield Police Department Accepting Applications for Position of Police Officer

The Ridgefield Police Department is accepting applications from both entry-level and certified police officers for the position of Police Officer. Applicants must be eligible to meet all requirements established by POSTC and the Ridgefield Police Department.

 

A competitive wage and benefit package which includes 13 paid holidays, Defined Contribution Pension Plan, paid vacation days, medical/dental/vision insurance, shift differential, tuition assistance. The selection process will include, at minimum, the successful completion of: Written Examination, Oral Board Examination, Police Commission Oral Board Interview, Cooper Fitness Test (We will conduct the Fitness Test. CHIP cards not accepted), Polygraph Examination, Psychological Assessment, Medical Examination/Drug Screening, Stress Test, Eye Exam, and Extensive Background Investigation.
