High School Seniors in Ridgefield Celebrated Through Adopt a Senior Project

The Adopt a Senior Project in Ridgefield is seeking more seniors to “ADOPT” (and spoil!) through the end of the school year!

From NOW until June 14, you are invited to "adopt" a high school senior from Ridgefield and shower them with extra love (in the form of notes, snacks, gift cards) ... "anything to let them know we’re all rooting for them. It’s a stressful time with cancelled proms and graduations postponed. Let’s share the love!" (courtesy of Adopt a Senior Facebook Page and page admins Michele Williams, Stefanie Ann Diggins Westrick, Stephani Ball Brown.

How it rolls (according to the Adopt a Senior Facebook Page):

if you know a Senior in High School you want to post on the Adopt a Senior Facebook Page

1- Type *Not Adopted* at the top
2- Upload their picture/s or video.
3- Their first name.
4- School they attend.
5- About them.
6- Their likes.

* Members can "Adopt" a Senior, (pick a Senior) by commenting on the post and connecting with the member that posted their Senior (to connect and get their likes) to send gift/s, care packages, a letter, etc.

* Once a Senior is adopted, both member and admin will need to update the post to "ADOPTED" and post will be closed. You can adopt multiple Seniors. The goal is to make sure all Seniors get adopted.

* You can find Seniors by searching under "NOT ADOPTED" topics on the top right POPULAR TOPICS.
  • You CAN adopt multiple seniors if you can and want.
  • You can gift one or more items. There is no rule on what or how much. That is totally up to your discretion.

Please visit the Adopt a Senior Facebook Page (you need to request to join) HERE for additional details.

Congratulation to the Class of 2021! It's been quite a year and you all deserve a pat on the back (and to be showered with some extra love!)
