Ridgefield Scouts Gather to Honor One of Their Own: Ryan Adams Memorial Main Street Clean-up Day

Early this morning, before the Spring Stroll kicked into full gear, Ridgefield scouts gathered on the steps of Town Hall to honor one of their own - Eagle Scout Ryan Adams, who passed away in 2015 at the age of 18.

Coined Ryan Adams Memorial Main Street Clean up Day, the annual ceremony began at 7:30 this morning with Ryan’s parents and First Selectman Rudy Marconi joining all four Ridgefield Troops. Following the ceremony, Troop members rolled up their sleeves and got to work.

Thank you to the scouts for beautifying downtown Ridgefield while honoring an incredible young man.

Thank you to Gary Tole of Gary Tole Photography for capturing this morning's ceremony.
