Farmingville 5th grader heading to National Invention Convention

Lily Zezula, a 5th grader from Farmingville Elementary School, was invited to the 2021 Virtual Invention Convention US Nationals event, hosted by The Henry Ford Museum for her Turtle Tent invention. She was one of 64 kids invited to attend from Connecticut.

Thousands of kids from Connecticut participated in this year's Connecticut Invention Convention. Lily has taken 1st place for 3 years in a row at Farmingville's Invention Convention, has been invited to Nationals twice, and was a recognized inventor by Entergy at last year's Connecticut Invention Convention.

Nationals will be taking place on June 24th.
