Today, Aaron Crook reported that a member of the Veterans Park Elementary School (VPES) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the VPES building while potentially infectious to others on Monday, May 3, and Tuesday, May 4. This individual has a known source of exposure outside of the VPES building. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.
"I conferred with Town of Ridgefield Health Director Ed Briggs and RHS Medical Advisor Dr. James Ahern about this case. Wear a mask, wash your hands, keep your distance, and get vaccinated," said Crook.
