The Women's Center Honors Raffaele Gallo at June 18 Fundraiser: An Evening Together

The Women’s Center is pleased to announce that Raffaele Gallo will be the recipient of this year’s Founders Award at the Women's Center Annual Dinner on Friday, June 18 at the Amber Room Colonnade.

Among his various restaurants in New York City and Boston, Raffaele has owned and operated Toscana, Gallo and now The Lantern in Ridgefield.  Not an ordinary restaurant owner, Raffaele takes pride in not only working in the kitchen but knowing ALL his customers and visiting tables to say hello.  Who hasn’t received the double cheek kiss from him at one point or another!

Raffaele was chosen for the Founders Award for his philanthropic support of the Women’s Center and the entire Ridgefield community.  Lucky area nonprofits have received donations of gift certificates, benefit dinners and bartending nights, just to name a few of Raffaele's many generous acts. In fact, don’t miss out on attending our event and having the opportunity to bid on his catered in-home dinner party for ten during our live auction!

If you ask Raffaele why he thinks it’s important to give back, he will tell you, “I love Ridgefield area.  It’s a community made up of people who no matter what nonprofit they work or volunteer for, they support each other.  They have given so much to me and my family, it’s only right we give back.”

He continues to live in and love Ridgefield with his wife Elizabeth and their children Pasquale and Alice, who are particularly excited to know their dad is receiving this award.
