New friendships, tons of laughs, and some exercise too - Ridgefield Women's Flag Football kicks off!
The first-of-its-kind in Connecticut flag football league for women kicked off last night at Scotland School field! Thank you to the amazing ladies who came out for an evening of friendship, laughter, and an awesome workout!
A special thank you and shout out to our new friends, members of the Reapers Women’s Football team (and Coach Dave) who brought their “A” game - not only in terms of mentorship and expertise but by empowering us and providing comedic relief!
Spearheaded by Commissioner and Ridgefield resident, Lynne Briody, the league, now in its second season, is poised for even more fun and games in 2021! “It’s all about fun, football and friendship. We will get exercise and laugh. This is our time!” says Briody.
