Mass Food Distribution in Danbury Every Saturday in August

United Way of Western Connecticut and the Connecticut Food Bank partner with the City of Danbury and Danbury Public Schools to host mass food drive-thru distribution every Saturday in August from 10 am to 1 pm at Danbury High School.

Danbury High School (43 Clapboard Ridge Road) will host a drive-thru food distribution every Saturday in August beginning on August 7. Area residents can drive-up from 10 am – 1 pm to receive a box of fresh produce from the CT Food Bank/Foodshare program.

This food distribution is spearheaded by United Way of Western CT who has partnered with the CT Food Bank/Foodshare to bring this drive-thru opportunity to Danbury residents. The CT Food Bank is committed to providing nutritious food to people in need throughout the state. To learn more about where to find CT Food Bank pantries and drive-thru distributions, click here.

In addition to the food drive, Danbury High will also host mobile vaccination clinics to provide residents the opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Clinics will be provided throughout the month by Griffin Health, RVNAhealth, and CHC, Inc.
