COVID Cases Reported at SRMS and Ridgefield High School

Aaron Crook, RN, RPS COVID-19 Health and Safety Compliance Liaison reported that today, the District learned that a member of the Scotts Ridge Middle School (SRMS) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the SRMS building while potentially infectious to others on Tuesday, September, 21 and Wednesday, September 22. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

In addition, today, the District learned that a member of the Ridgefield High School (RHS) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the RHS building while potentially infectious to others on Tuesday, September 21, Wednesday, September 22 and Thursday, September 23. Contact tracing for this case is underway.

Crook said, "I conferred with Town of Ridgefield Health Director Ed Briggs and RHS Medical Advisor Dr. James Ahern about these cases. Wear a mask, wash your hands, keep your distance, and get vaccinated."
