Member or Scotts Ridge Middle School Tests Positive for COVID, Potentially Infectious in Building Sept. 22 and Sept. 23

Today, Aaron Crook, COVID-19 Health and Safety Compliance Liaison, reported that the District learned that a member of the Scotts Ridge Middle School (SRMS) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the SRMS building while potentially infectious to others on Wednesday, September, 22, and Thursday, September 23. This individual has a known source of exposure from outside of the SRMS building. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

Crook said, "I conferred with Town of Ridgefield Health Director Ed Briggs and RHS Medical Advisor Dr. James Ahern about this case. Wear a mask, wash your hands, keep your distance, and get vaccinated."
