Member of Scotland Elementary School community tests positive for COVID, RHS member is presumed positive

Today, Aaron Crook, RN, RPS COVID-19 Health and Safety Compliance Liaison, reported that a member of the Scotland Elementary School (SES) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the SES building while potentially infectious to others on Friday, September 24. They have a known source of exposure from outside of the SES building. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

In addition, Crook said that a member of the Ridgefield High School (RHS) community is presumed positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the RHS building while potentially infectious to others on Thursday, September 23. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

"I conferred with Town of Ridgefield Health Director Ed Briggs and RHS Medical Advisor Dr. James Ahern about these cases. Wear a mask, wash your hands, keep your distance, and get vaccinated,"said Crook.
