SafeRides of Ridgefield is BACK for 2021- 2022 and welcome High School Juniors and Seniors to apply at www.saferidesofridgefield.org.
Applications must be received by end of day on Wednesday, November 3rd and the standard, non-refundable application fee of $35.00 applies to all who wish to get involved.
SafeRides of Ridgefield is a community-based program supported to eliminate the risk of impaired driving and operates on Friday and Saturday evenings in concert with the RHS school schedule.
Those who are not licensed drivers are still eligible to participate in the program as support to a licensed driver. Students always go into the community in a team of two.
Comprehensive training in conjunction with the Ridgefield Fire Department and the Ridgefield Police Department is provided to every participant, all in the interest of keeping all community members safe.
