SPHERE and Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance: In Perfect Harmony

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance celebrates its sixth year dancing with SPHERE!

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) Executive Director Amy Piantaggini and her high school student dance volunteers attend weekly rehearsals with SPHERE’s performing arts group, led by Emily Pambianchi. Piantaggini says, “We are so glad to return after the early pandemic months kept us at home!“

This year, the volunteers who give their time to dance with this inspiring group include senior Abigail Stobin of Ridgefield, sophomore Jamie Ellin of South Salem, junior Hailey Brown of Katonah, and sophomore Katie Burns of Ridgefield. The dance portion of the weekly rehearsal includes an all-member group dance to the classic Chuck Berry “Run Run Rudolph” to be performed at SPHERE’s upcoming holiday party. Past collaborations have included SPHERE’s annual performances and galas, and  RCD’s annual spring concerts.

President and Chairman of the Board of SPHERE Lori Berisford says, "Amy and her students have been an important part of our Performing Arts Class for many years.  We are excited to welcome them back to SPHERE this fall.  The generosity of RCD's time over the years has been amazing and our members love dancing - whether it's on stage at a performance or at our weekly class.  If Amy and her students are involved - you know it's going to be a fun time for everyone!"

There is so much to celebrate about these two nonprofits!
