Students Set Scotland Elementary School Ablaze with PUMPKINS!

Thursday night, Scotland Elementary School was set ablaze.....with PUMPKINS, that is. This was Scotland’s second annual pumpkin carving event, and this year it was definitely turned up a notch!

Kiddos worked hard at carving their spookiest creations at home and dropped them off at school to line up with other pumpkins alike, to be in the running for the title of Most Creative! 50 pumpkins were entered and set aglow in true Halloween fashion. It was a sight to be seen for the more than 100 cars that came to drive-by and see the show!

Over the Halloween weekend, SES students will get to vote for their favorite jack-o-lantern and for one talented carver, they will receive an awesome prize gifted by the SES PTA. “Seeing smiles on the faces of so many students is what drives us to keep creating these happy memories for our beloved school,” Kathryn Chambers PTA Board Member said.

Way to go Scotties! Happy Halloween!
