Ridgefield Resident Cora Diamond Places First Overall in Today's Gymnastics Competition, Earns Several Medals

Congratulations to 9-year-old Ridgefield resident Cora Diamond, a gymnast who trains at Kratos Gymnastics in Bethel, for winning several medals today at the 2022 25th Annual Star Struck Invitational competition in Atlantic City. 

Cora, a student at Ridgefield Academy, began her journey as a gymnast just one year ago!

The young athlete, an Xcel Silver competitor, won First Place Overall! She also earned two gold medals for her performance on the balance beam and uneven bars, and a bronze medal for vault and floor exercise.

Cora's proud parents are Katie and Bill Diamond. Katie is the Executive Director and co-founder of ACT of CT.

The competition, hosted by Star Bound Gymnastics, continues through Sunday, January 16. You can follow along online here.
