Congratulations to Scotts Ridge Middle School principal Tim Salem, recipient of the 2022 American Association of School Libraries (AASL) Distinguished School Administrator Award!
The Distinguished School Administrator Award honors a school administrator who has made worthy contributions to the operations of an exemplary school library and to advancing the role of the school library in the educational program.
His team at SRMS remarked on Facebook, “Supporting a school library through funding is important, but advocating with words and action speaks volumes! Congrats Mr. Salem!”
In addition to an award plaque and travel expenses to attend the AASL award ceremony, Mr. Salem will receive a monetary prize of $2000.
