Only one?! I love sitting outside at any of the fabulous restaurants we have in our town! I can’t leave out grabbing takeout at Baja or Planet and bringing the family to watch the talented musicians that come to Ballard Park.
What community event do you look forward to attending? How does it make you feel?
Definitely the Memorial Day Parade! The town is filled with familiar smiling faces. This is a quintessential New England event. Every year, my family and a group of friends and their families set up in front of the Lounsbury House (another gem in town) We all love cheering on all of the floats that go by …especially The Boys and Girls Club Float which is chock full of children waving American flags. And the flyover is always the highlight! Every year, this event reminds me that we live in the best town! Ridgefield is a special place.
Definitely the fireworks at RHS! Similar to The Memorial Day Parade, it’s just got such a great sense of community. Kids are running free parents are mingling! The firework display is incredible!
