Summer Smiles in Ridgefield
Enjoying summer days close to home, at events and venues unique to your hometown, are some of the most memorable experiences in life (plus, you can get cozy in your own bed at the end of a fun-filled day).
Our series “What makes you crack a smile” highlights the local people, places and events that make our community an enjoyable place to live.

What community event do you look forward to attending?
Music at the Museum! It takes place once a month and is put on by the joint effort of Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center. Also, I enjoy walking through our town's business area and shopping locally.
What summer activity in Ridgefield makes you crack a smile?
Eating at Gallo - love their food and it is like our place - we know everyone! I also love purchasing food at Natures Temptations - especially the fresh bread.
Do you have a cherished memory of summer in Ridgefield?
It is the Memorial Day Parade - either marching in the parade or being on the street watching it. I love being part of this event with the Rotary Club of Ridgefield.
