More than 100 Eastern Connecticut State University students completed internships this spring 2023 semester, gaining valuable experience with organizations in a range of professional fields.
Among the students was Christopher Hulbert of Ridgefield, a junior majoring in History and Social Science. Hulbert completed an internship with Great Path Academy (GPA).
"My field experience at GPA deepened my understanding of various pedagogical practices, and helped learn a variety of instructional and management methods, as well as learn how to apply ideas from the educational courses here at Eastern to the actual classroom in practice. I can see what kind of encounters I would potentially be coming across in the school setting on an everyday basis," said Hulbert.
