Ridgefield Chorale's Daniela Sikora Receives Kindness Award from Ben's Bells

Daniela Sikora received the Kindness Award from Ben's Bells for her commitment to fostering a community of kindness - both within the Ridgefield Chorale and in its interactions with others.  First Selectman Rudy Marconi commended Daniela for the many ways in which the Ridgefield Chorale gives back to the community.

Ridgefield Chorale Director Daniela Sikora will be celebrating her 25th year with the Chorale this fall. She has won numerous awards, honors, and competitions as a professional musician, including the Metropolitan Opera Regional Award and a Fellowship in Chamber Music at the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado.

The Ridgefield Chorale is a contemporary music singing group whose members hail from Fairfield County Connecticut and Westchester County New York. Known for its vocal excellence and dedicated to the performance of contemporary choral music, from a cappella to Broadway, the standards, jazz and world music, the Chorale presents today’s finest choral composers and arrangers, accompanied by some of our area’s best musicians.

A vital part of the performing arts scene in Connecticut – Ridgefield is Connecticut’s First Cultural District – the Chorale offers two major concerts a year plus a December Holiday concert which raises funds for local non-profit organizations.
