Former Ridgefield Resident is Running Boston Marathon in Support of Casa Myrna

From an early age, dance has always been a major part of my life, from Enchanted Garden Studios to the Ridgefield High School Dance Team; but when access to my regular dance classes was cut off during the pandemic, I picked up running as my exercise outlet. Since then, I’ve found the comfort and joy I had in dance, in my morning runs.

That is why I am raising $10,000 for a charity I feel very passionate about to secure a bib in the 129th Boston Marathon this April 2024.

Casa Myrna provides indispensable support to survivors of domestic violence in the Boston area, where I witnessed their impact while working for two years in the Suffolk DA’s office's Domestic Violence and Assault Unit. Providing bi-lingual services in legal proceedings for some of the most sensitive hearings is one of the many forms of support that Casa Myrna offers.

Please join me in supporting an organization that promotes a safe and empowering environment for survivors to rebuild their lives.

Donations can be submitted via the official Boston Marathon fundraising site GivenGain: https://www.givengain.com/project/ruby-raising-funds-for-casa-myrna-vazquez-inc-66923.
