Happy holiday season to all of our incredible patrons, audiences, supporters, and friends! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of our theater. We are having such a fantastic season here at ACT of CT.
ACT of CT Theater buzz and CT Critics Circle Award for Best Director of a Musical for THE SECRET GARDEN
Our last production, SUNSET BOULEVARD, was such a joy for me to direct. I remain so very proud of that show and it seems to have been an audience favorite! Our past two productions at ACT of CT (THE SECRET GARDEN and SUNSET BOULEVARD) have generated a lot of attention for our theater. I was so very honored to have received the CT Critics Circle Award for Best Director of a Musical for THE SECRET GARDEN.
New patrons and subscribers!
Between that production and SUNSET BOULEVARD, we have welcomed brand new patrons and season subscribers to our theater who understand and appreciate the caliber of work that we are producing right here in Ridgefield. As Artistic Director, I am humbled and overjoyed to see our audience demographics continue to grow and expand far beyond Fairfield County.
Sold-out performances - don't wait to get your tickets!
Because our productions are limited engagement runs (not open-ended) many patrons were not able to see SUNSET BOULEVARD because the final two weeks of performances were completely sold out. While there was availability during the first half of the run, many patrons waited just a bit too long to purchase tickets and, sad to say, were not able to see the production (though we were able to accommodate many who were put on a waiting list).
I urge you not to wait until our upcoming productions "open" to purchase your tickets. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET and KINKY BOOTS will surely be sold out halfway through their respective runs, and so if you are not a season subscriber or single ticket holder for these two productions, please do consider purchasing tickets for these productions well in advance of their opening so that you can be assured seats. I guarantee that these two shows will be big hits for ACT of CT and we want to make sure that everyone who wants to see the shows can! (And what better holiday gift to give than the gift of live theater!!).
So much gratitude!
As I often say, we consider ourselves lucky to live and work in a community where the arts are considered vital to a thriving society. It is our great honor to be able to produce the Broadway-caliber shows that we put on here at ACT of CT. We are passionate about theater and about this community and we thank you for your support and for your appreciation of the arts.
Have an incredible holiday season and I look forward to welcoming you to our next mainstage show!!!
