The former Luna Rossa restaurant at 90 Danbury Road will soon become Posa Ristorante & Vineria.
Applications were filed with the Town of Ridgefield and approved in late January to renovate the interior of the restaurant. The exterior will not change. The plan includes installing a large Forno Bravo pizza oven and constructing a pizza bar. The restaurant will also boast a full-service bar, dining area, and outdoor seating.
According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, the restaurant will offer authentic Italian cuisine by a family who hails from Positano, Italy, where they own two restaurants.
“Soon you can enjoy a nice wine with solid and authentic Neapolitan dishes in a relaxed ambiance right here in Ridgefield,” the owners wrote on Facebook.
