When Dr. Harinder Sandhu moved to Ridgefield with his family in 2012, he wasn't expecting to continue his dental practice here in town. "We were just looking for the right place to raise our family," Sandhu says, "a place with a great school system."
But upon arriving, Sandhu, who practiced dentistry for over a decade in his native country of India and later in Maine, discovered that Dr. Neil Schwimer, a long-time local dentist, was in the process of retiring after working in Ridgefield for over 28 years.
The New York University graduate decided to inherit Dr. Schwimer's practice and patients, and with a new face came a new name - Evergreen Family Dental Care .
Dentistry is constantly evolving and Dr. Sandhu's commitment to continuing education keeps him current with the latest advances in order to benefit his patients.
Dr. Sandhu loves life in Ridgefield (almost as much as he loves teeth). He has two boys in the Ridgefield school system. When Dr. Sandhu is asking patients to open-wide, he likes to spend time with his family.
Dr. Sandhu is a member of American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists and a Preferred provider for Invisalign, Six Month Smile and ZOOM teeth whitening.
