Setting up shop at 159 Danbury Road in Ridgefield

Setting up shop

You’re starting a personal training business, looking to move your tutoring company to a new location, or need larger space to handle your growing business. Where do you set up shop?

Visibility, ample parking, attractive space, and affordability were important to three local business owners we interviewed at 159 Danbury Road in Ridgefield. The brand new high-end building brought to you by 9th generation Ridgefield resident and builder Michael Eppoliti, features all of those attributes - and then some.

The first floor commercial space with large store-front windows is accessed from highly traveled Danbury Road.  “We thought it was the perfect location; people have come in off the street - just because they are driving by!” says co-owner of Mobile Rescue, Marigona Markaj.

And, each space was constructed with no bearing walls or columns and boasts ten foot ceilings. So, business owners can let their imaginations run wild.  “It is brand new space - we could pick the size we wanted and the layout,” says longtime Ridgefield Hair Care employee Joann Paproski.

Ridgefield Family Hair Care moved into the new space in early May; expanding and improving their image. Building out the space to suit the needs and functionality of a busy salon was of utmost importance to Paproski and salon owner, Steven Frisone. The bright, large salon now houses a small boutique. Longtime employee Joann Paproski exclaims, “We love, love, love it.”

Ridgefield Glass wanted offer customers an enhanced shopping experience that included a large showroom. They moved less than a mile north to 159 Danbury Road in June. “It’s a very presentable building; we sell elegant products, with a high end appeal and what Michael did with the building gives the storefront a very high end look to it, matching our product,” explains owner, John Petchonka.
