The high winds have caused some downed trees and branches on Ridgefield roadways. There are several detours as reported by Ridgefield Police. Here are the latest wind-related travel issues:
- Route 116 is clear, there is still debris on side but north and southbound lanes are OPEN.
- There is a detour on Haviland and Route 7 due to a tree that fell on Haviland and onto Route 7. Northbound lane is compromised but police say that they are able to get traffic through.
- There is a detour on Ridgebury Road by the Tiger Hollow lower field. The alternate route for traffic headed north to Ridgebury Road will be detoured through Sherwood Road.
