A fresh coat of red paint for Ridgefield's Little Red Schoolhouse

Little Red Schoolhouse, located on a small piece of land surrounded by a triangle of roadway where Route 35 meets West Lane and Peter Parley Road, received a fresh coat of red paint (and white for the trim) this week.

The Ridgefield landmark is beautifully maintained by the Ridgefield Historical Society as well as by Ridgefield residents, Donna and Carl Warren who are responsible the schoolhouse 2012 renovation (you can read more about that here.)

The Little Red Schoolhouse, also known as the Peter Parley Schoolhouse, is now a museum and learning center and is open to visitors from1 to 4 on the last Sunday of every month from May until September.
