Open House & Trunk Show at Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance on Saturday

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) will host Open House event including a special Trunk Show on Saturday, September 9 from 6pm to 8pm. New, prospective and returning students and families are welcome to tour the Studio and meet the professional faculty as well as the Board of Directors. Jeanne Hendrickson of Dancer.NYC will host a trunk show featuring a unique and beautiful line of dance wear.

“This is a great time for parents and students to meet our faculty, pre-ballet assistants, as well as our Board members,” says Artistic Director, Amy Piantaggini. “Attendees can ask questions and learn about what makes us unique as a non profit dance studio,” she adds.

Did you know? RCD's Pre-ballet program exposes young dancers to the joy of dance through movement games, creative exercises, exploration of dance styles and an introduction to movement vocabulary.

"We are excited to see so many new young dancers joining us this season! Our unique Saturday Dance for 2s and 3s at 9 am pairs young dancers with our older big girl assistants. It's a joy to see this program grow,” says Piantaggini.

If you are unable to attend Saturday’s event, feel free to stop into the Studio during Open House Week, anytime through September 15. Why not try a free class?

“Adults and teens can take Grace Reddy's open level 7:30 class on Thursday! Try it free!” says Piantaggini.

Grace trained at China’s national school of dance, the Beijing Dance Academy, and studied classical Chinese dance and ballet under Russian masters following the Vaganova System.
