Ridgefield's Red Rooster Pub Gets A Sign

The Red Rooster Pub is one step closer to opening - this week, the restaurant, located at 43 Danbury Road in Ridgefield, got a sign.

A few months ago, we caught up with the owner, Tony Ramadani who told us he was hoping to open late fall. It appears he could be on target.

While we haven't spoken to Ramadani lately, the HamletHub office happens to be right next to the Red Rooster Pub and we have seen construction activity daily.

Ramadani is in the midst of transforming the former Toscana restaurant into a rustic-style family eatery boasting distressed wood, horse barn doors, old beams, and a new, open floor plan.

It's round two for Ramadani, who, two decades ago, opened the Italian eatery, Mirabella at 43 Danbury Road. This time, the seasoned restaurateur will bring American comfort food to Ridgefield.

Ramadani owns sister restaurant, Red Rooster Pub in Newtown, as well as Max 40 in Danbury and Portofino in Wilton.

We will update you on the opening date and additional details as soon as we have them!
