The Rooted Plow is pleased to announce the opening of its Holiday Pop-Up Shop at Weichert Realtors on Main Street, Ridgefield.
Launched in May 2017 by longtime Ridgefield residents Leslie Realander and Diana Arfine, The Rooted Plow sells custom Ridgefield apparel, home goods, drinkware and more. "We love our adopted hometown, and wanted to share that love with others through our custom designs," says Realander. The line features a variety of products, including wine-scented soy candles, leather journals, clothing for children and adults, mugs, water bottles, drink coasters, and a subway art pillow that showcases popular locales around Ridgefield.
The Rooted Plow was approached by Weichert Realtors Madison and Post manager Barry London to use some of their products in Weichert’s holiday window displays. This discussion evolved into the idea for the Pop-Up Shop. A portion of all sales from the shop will be donated to ROAR. "For the past couple of years, Weichert has hosted an adoption event for ROAR at their office," explains Arfine. "They'll have another event during the holiday stroll. We applaud Weichert's efforts to support ROAR, and are happy to contribute to the cause."
"We're also introducing several new products just in time for the holidays," adds Arfine. "One of my favorites is a desktop photo calendar that features beautiful Ridgefield photos by local photographer Michele Williams."
The Rooted Plow’s Holiday Pop Up Shop will be open at the Weichert office at 388 Main Street on weekends, Dec. 2-3, 9-10 and 16-17, from 11 am-3 pm. A limited selection of The Rooted Plow merchandise is also available for sale at the Keeler Tavern, the Market at Union Hall in North Salem, and the Ridgefield Guild of Artist's Festive Home boutique.
