Baja Cocina Opening Soon in Downtown Ridgefield

The counters are IN, the tables arrive this week, and the restaurant has a logo-identity...it's really happening.

Downtown Ridgefield will soon home to build-your-own tacos, rice bowls, burritos (including breakfast burritos) and made-to-order fresh fish - Mexican-style. Owner, Larry Debany told us he hopes to open Baja Cocina in about a month at 426 Main Street (oh, yeah, he decided on a name, finally).

Baja Cocina (Spanish for kitchen) will be known for FRESH ingredients, made-to-order fish dishes, build-your-own- tacos, rice bowls, burritos, and other classic Mexican dishes. The man behind the Mexican cuisines is Chef George (aka Celestino Villalba).

The 25 seat eatery will offer a takeout menu and a variety of upscale bottled beer.

Debany has had great success opening and managing popular restaurants in Ridgefield. Tucked behind Main Street, just steps from the  Baja Cocina is 850 Degrees Wood Fired Pizza. Debany also owned Fifty Coins prior to selling a few years back.

We will bring you info on the opening date soon!
