109 Cheese and Wine your Memorial Day Weekend festivities covered! And...You can still order a cheese or charcuterie platter for the weekend that much more enjoyable! Call to order: 203.438.5757.

109 has been busy making their signature Flatbread Pizza's - plus 109 has delicious (and homemade) appetizers, soups, grilled cheese and more so you can enjoy the long weekend with great food and Wine!

Did anyone say "Burrata"? The soft center, stracciatella, comprised of cream and strands of mozzarella gives this cheese a distinct flavor. Cut in half and served in a deep plate, paired with fresh tomatoes, fragrant basil, or peaches and rosemary. Scooped with crusty bread and accompanied by a bottle of wine.

109 will be tasting three wines on Saturday and Sunday: a red, a white, and a rosé - AKA, the Holy Trinity as it's known in the wine world (1-5 Saturday & 12-3 on Sunday).

Michel Tete Beaujolais-Villages 'Clos du Fief' 2016

An unbelievable value from 45-year-old vines, this is a light-bodied red that actually shines with a slight chill on it! Fresh red berries, some blossom aromas, and a very satisfying spice note on the finish make this a great choice for a red by the pool or grill.

Buxy Montagny 2015

One of our favorite everyday white Burgundies, and again, an overachiever. Ripe melon, citrus and stone fruit aromas are balanced with a plush, textured mouthfeel. This wine is energetic and bright, sees no oak (think: juicy, smooth, clean), and really works with cheese and shellfish.

AIX Rosé 2017

A crisp, textbook rosé from Provence - we like it so much we got a few 15L bottles (for you and 30 of your closest friends!). A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, this wine has enough body to work with food, but enough red and melon fruit to be savored by itself, by the pool, or with hors d'oeuvres.
