Third Saturdays: Family Art Experiences with Jessie Boyko on Saturday, April 18 from 10 am to 3pm at The Aldrich
Work with visiting artist Jessie Boyko to “de-install” her installation of reproductions of famous artworks, and then cut, rip, arrange, and glue the photos into your own masterpiece. Pin it up on the wall as part of the new piece of art.
From 10 am to 12 noon, Third Saturdays caters to children aged two to five with play in the galleries, followed by storytime and art-making. From 1 to 3 pm, children aged six to ten are invited to engage in gallery games and the hands-on art project.
Although the workshops are geared to a specific age range, siblings and friends of all ages are welcome to participate. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
