Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Pamby Motors!

Three questions with John Pambianchi, co-owner of Pamby Motors.

Why did you start your business?

Our father, Matty, and his brother, Harry, began Pamby Motors Inc. in 1948! My two brothers and I started working pretty young, through high school and college, and now have our own children involved in the business.

Best selling product/service?

Our Service and Parts Center is always busy! We love that our community trusts us to take care of their vehicles. We also love seeing Pamby Jeeps out on the roads!

How many people do you employ? Any youth or seniors from the community?

We employ 55 people, currently. Some our of employees started working when my father was still here. We have high school interns each year, as well as local adolescents learning the auto industry while they are on the job. Our team also includes many senior citizens!

Pamby Motors is located at 665 Danbury Road. Visit them online here.

Congratulations to Pamby Motors on 70 years in business!
