Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT everywear on main!

Three questions with Megan Searfoss, owner of everywear on main.

Why did you start your business?

I started everywear on main because I believe there is a need for lifestyle shoes and apparel for men and women in our downtown. Apparel for our fast-paced lives that are comfortable and stylish,  I wanted to create a business that had a story; sustainability, organic, Made in the USA, or have a charitable mission. Most of our products have a story, and are products that will stand the test of time.

What is your best selling product/service?

Our shoes have become popular.  Building off of our brands at Ridgefield Running Company, everywear on main has cultivated shoes that are not only stylish but comfortable and functional. We carry UGG, Birkenstock, New Balance and several other quality brands.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I bank at Fairfield County Bank, use Squash's for printing and office supplies, Ridgefield Hardware, and always stay in town for my business errands.

everywear on main is located at 423 Main Street in Ridgefield. Visit them online here.
