Three questions with Emily Arcamone, owner of Designs By Emily A.
Why did you start your business?
I have always enjoyed making and receiving handmade gifts rather than those from the store. I found a fascination with those who had hidden talents such as knitting/crocheting, baking, etc. and I wanted to find my hidden talent. I took up many hobbies along the way, however, nothing stuck as it has with the crayon banks. The business has allowed me to use my creative talents and produce a product that everyone is familiar with and loves.

The best-selling product that Designs By Emily A creates is our personalized crayon bank. The banks are available in seven different colors. The crayon banks are piggy banks in the shape of crayons that we then personalize with names/phrases specific to the customers' order. Our customers have been incredibly creative using the banks in a variety of different ways, such as; a vacation fund, table centerpieces, party favors, painting activities and much more.
