Three questions with Enza, owner of Enza Events.
Why did you start your business?
I've been in the flower business for 30 years and designing events for about 20 of them. Before launching Enza Events I was at a great event design company in NY for many years. The commute was really putting a toll on me and the business started to shift in a different direction. I decided that I worked way too hard and why couldn't I work hard for myself? I always loved my weddings and knew that it was something that I really wanted to focus on. Living in New Milford and most of my client base being from NY I decided that Ridgefield would be a perfect middle ground. I fell in love with the town immediately, the people, the shops....the amazing restaurants, it was exactly the kind of town I wanted my business to be in. Enza Events is strictly an Event Decor company and specialize in Weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs as well as other special events. Weddings are our main focus.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We love the businesses in this town and try to support as many as we can. We're often at Ridgefield Supply & Ridgefield Hardware for tools and job materials. Pretty in Print which we share our space with always helps us with our graphic design and branding for events. We've used Ridgefield Glass on a couple of occasions for glass needs. Shopping at Squashes Ridgefield Office Supply for paper, chalk markers & general office supplies. Party Depot has been a great source for so many last minute things that we've needed. We've also probably have eaten at just about every restaurant in Ridgefield...lol we definitely shop local!
