BRICK HOUSE WOOD FIRE PIZZA KITCHEN & BAR, owned by seasoned restauranteur Junio Filgueira, has announced they will be opening this spring at located 632 Danbury Road, the space that, for many years, was occupied by Subway.
"I was born and raised in Brazil then moved to the United States in 1994. My Italian heritage stems from my grandmother who was born in Italy and later moved to Brazil to start her family," says Filgueira.
Filgueira, who owns sister restaurant Tivoli Pizza and Trattoria in Danbury, says the new pizzeria will offer traditional Napolitana style wood-fired pizza and Modern Italian dishes with a South American twist.
"Our bar will serve wine, beer, mixed drinks and a variety of the world famous Brazilian Caipirinha drink," says Filgueira. "We truly hope the town of Ridgefield will enjoy what we bring to the table!" he adds.
