You're IT Medicinal Skin!

Three questions with Holly Arrindell, owner of Medicinal Skin.

What is your best selling product/service?

We are known for doing the best facials in town. The Steam & Peel Facial cleanse is still our best selling facial. It’s a great skin cleanse and brightener! The treatment helps remove dead skin, allowing for better product absorption and hydration.  But, our Micro-Dermabrasion Facial is a close contender! Micro-Dermabrasion uses tiny exfoliating crystals that are sprayed on the skin. This helps refine the skin surface and works best for dull skin, brown spots, age spots, scars and fine lines. This treatment is coupled with our Signature Facial.

All our facials are customized and tailored to our clients' needs.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business. “I wish I could…”

I wish I could have everyone experience either a facial or massage because the benefits are so great! Massage helps reduce stress, pain and muscle tension. It can also help anxiety, fibromyalgia, headaches, soft tissue strain or injuries.

And regular facials are relaxing. They cleanse the skin, reduce blackheads, whiteheads and acne. They exfoliate, tighten skin tone and promote anti-aging. Facials can also improve blood circulation, skin rejuvenation and general skin health.

These are just a few benefits of massage and facials.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Kate Fitzpatrick Consulting has been working on my social media since I opened in 2015. I also work with Hello Ridgefield, a local social media company. I have advertised with HamletHub and The Ridgefield Playhouse. We offer a special in the “Personal Touch Welcome” basket by Dee Strilowich, the lovely Welcome Wagon Lady. We have cross-promoted with JoyRide and Jennifer Kinford Beauty Group to help prepare clients for their wedding day. I have meetings at Tazza Cafe, KaFo, The Market at Union Hall and the Early Bird Cafe. And we’ve celebrated birthdays and the holidays with our team at The Village Tavern, Gallo and Tablao. For supplies big and small, we frequent Ridgefield Hardware and Squashes. I have been a member of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce since we opened in 2015.
