Kelsey Hubbard Rollinson is a journalist, who for many years, worked for news organizations including The Wall Street Journal, WABC-TV, CNN and the News 12 Networks. As an anchor and reporter, she covered general news, finance and consumer interest stories. As a journalist, Kelsey interviewed many CEOs and entrepreneurs for many years.
After a couple of years as a working mother juggling career and family, Kelsey realized the need for a place where parents could go with their kids -- a place where they can drop in to play, do arts and crafts and enjoy time together. The space needed to be appealing to children as well as parents who wanted to squeeze in quality time with their children while also getting their work done.
With the trend of more and more people working from home, Kelsey saw a business opportunity -- creating a playspace for kids combined with a convenient, comfortable, professional workspace for parents and caregivers who need a few hours each day to work.
