The Aldrich Goes Virtual with Tree Spa, Digital Tours, and Meditation

The Aldrich has announced that next week, the Museum will be hosting a couple of virtual programs over Zoom – a Drink & Draw Happy Hour on Thursday and a Virtual Family Field Trip of our Weather Report exhibition on Friday. Both programs are free but require advanced registration.

"We aim to have more live virtual programming for the community soon and will be updating our calendar as programs solidify," Emily Devoe, head of Marketing/Communications explains.

In addition, the Museum is creating a few series of short videos that are populating our YouTube page. This includes a video of artist Colin McMullan giving a tour of the Tree Spa for Urban Forest Healing that was supposed to be activated at the Museum last weekend, a curator-led digital tour of Eva LeWitt’s exhibition, a mindfulness meditation activity inspired by a work of art by Ayumi Ishii in the Weather Report exhibition, and more.

Also new - the Aldrich at Home weekly e-newsletter featuring a host of virtual content and programming. To receive the e-newsletter, sign up on the homepage of The Aldrich website at www.aldrichart.org.
