nancy O blankets Ridgefield with love, and it's only just begun

Love is Essential. Look no further than nancy O.

Less than two weeks ago, Nancy O'Connell, the owner of nancy O, announced that she wanted to blanket Ridgefield with love. And, the community delivered by way of creative and beautiful hearts. Nearly 200 of them, and coming in strong, day by day.

"We want to show our gratitude to the healthcare workers, and every other essential worker who's keeping our community going every day.  We also want to show our love and compassion to those who've been impacted, directly or indirectly.  Those who are sick.  Isolated.  Worried.  Lost loved ones.  Lost livelihoods.  Feeling scared and lonely," Nancy explains.

Join the love train.

Knit or crochet hearts and drop them at nancy O (103 Danbury Road). There will be a table and box outside of the store and you can drop your heart there any weekday morning. Nancy recommends bright colors and the more the merrier! "We'll start by stringing them here and hopefully will have enough to blanket the town!" she says.

Can't knit?  All hearts are welcome!  Nancy says kids can draw or cut them out of felt or fabric. "We'll find a way to use all and any hearts we receive," she says.

Let's do this, Ridgefield!
